After being logged into game for 6 hours you're automatically forced logged out. You can use this feature to your advantage by logging in just less than 6 hours prior to a comp to obtain an additional 6 hours head start on everyone else. To ensure this works properly you can't log out until the comp begins, which even then you need to ensure you update your profile on WOM after the comp begins to initiate a data point. Once this has been completed you can relog and it should've worked properly.

In order to be tracked properly in a competition or event on Wise Old Man(WOM), you MUST update your profile AFTER the competition has began. Any experience you gain will not count until you have made this initial update. You must ALSO log out and update your profile before the competition ends. Failure to do any of these steps will result in lost experience.

All the following methods are banned from competitions to prevent unfair gameplay.

• Arceuus Library Books
• Sq'irkjuice
• Blast Mining
• Cave Goblin Wire Crafting
• 1 Tick Herblore
• Glistening Tears
• *IRONMAN* no herblore allowed.

If the event requires a team captain, you may apply to become one during sign ups. Team Captains are responsible to encourage team mates to play efficiently. Team Captains do not have to pay an entry fee and also receive a higher percentage of winnings at the end for their efforts. You must also attend the team Draft when that information is provided in order to draft a team.

If the event is stated to have winnings then winnings will be split up as follows.

• Team Comps - Based on your participate % over your overall teams gains.
• Solo Comps - 1st Place 50% - 2nd Place 30% - 3rd Place 20%
